Many found it hard to believe. They made calls to confirm if those close to the bishop had heard the story.
But
the ‘man of God’ himself told the story before journalists at the
State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Port Harcourt, Rivers
State.
Bishop Chibuike Nwabueze narrated the story of how he allegedly raped
a 15-year-old girl after ministering at Calvary Army Ministry, Rumuoji
Eneka in Obio Akpor local government area of Rivers state.
He
blamed it on the devil and also accused his host as the one who set him
up. According to the cleric, after he finished ministering, he retired
to rest. The girl later came for deliverance.

Cashless Policy: Dream Still Far From Reality
In what can best be described as an attempt to broaden the
scope of electronic payments for goods and services, five states and the
FCT are set to join Lagos which adopted the cashless initiative last
year, owing to the high level of commercial activities and cash deposits
they record.
On its part, the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, disclosed that the expanded cashless initiative would include Aba (Abia State), Onitsha (Anambra State), Kano (Kano State), Port Harcourt (Rivers State), Abeokuta/Agbara (Ogun State) and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Indeed, the trend, which has for long been embraced by the industrialised European countries and the USA, is yet to fully gain ground in Nigeria. But the CBN, which is the main driver of the effort, explains that it is aimed at reducing the heavy volume of paper money or cash in the economic system.

Warri North Crisis: Gunmen Flee As JTF, Police Are On Their Trail
MEMBERS of Egbema
Radical Group, ERG, principally hoodlums and ex-militants, who killed
about 12 Itsekiri persons and razed three communities in Warri North
Local Government Area of Delta State in the last three days, have fled
from their locations in the Benin River, following a massive hunt for
them by joint security operatives.
The group, which claimed to be protesting against injustice and political marginalization of Ijaw people in Warri North, had been denounced by most Ijaw leaders in the area, who frowned at the violent disposition of the so-called agitators.
